SLEOLA Membership Benefits

SLEOLA is fighting to protect, preserve and enhance the pay, benefits, and working conditions of State Law Enforcement Officers throughout Maryland.

The State Law Enforcement Officers Labor Alliance’s primary purpose is to unite all labor organizations that are eligible in to one. This would include organizations whose members are employed with the Maryland State Police, the Natural Resources Police, the State Forest and Park Service, the Maryland Department of General Services, the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s, or any current or future police agency of the State of Maryland which is eligible to participate in the collective bargaining process. There are many SLEOLA membership benefits.

SLEOLA Members can benefit from:

  • Legal Representation
  • Financial Guidance/Advice
  • Active Legislative Representation
  • Updates via our Members Only Section

SLEOLA is committed to ensuring that our members have the technology, vehicles, facilities and manpower needed to fulfill their missions and keep Maryland safe.

SLEOLA actively supports the rights of state law enforcement employees as their exclusive bargaining agent, and will work to improve pay, benefits and working conditions for all of our State law enforcement personnel.

SLEOLA Members Serve in the Following Agencies:

  • Maryland State Police
  • Natural Resources Police
  • Office of the State Fire Marshal
  • Maryland Capitol Police
  • Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Police
  • Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation Police
  • Maryland Department of Public Safety & Correctional Services
  • Intelligence & Investigative Division and Warrant Apprehension Unit
  • Motor Vehicle Administration Police
  • Comptroller’s Office Field Enforcement Agents

As you can see, SLEOLA represents a variety of law enforcement agencies with different missions. However, all of our members are State law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

They are men and women who have answered the call to protect and serve. They are individuals who have chosen a career where a split-second decision can be the difference between life and death. Few other professions entrust employees with such a tremendous responsibility. Our State Law Enforcement Officers are among the finest in the country.

Our monthly board meeting will be held tonight September 26th @ 6:00 PM.
The meeting will be held @ our SLEOLA office in Severna Park.
As always, all members are welcomed and encouraged to attend.
