National Troopers Coalition

The National Troopers Coalition, Inc. founded in 1977 is a 501-c(5) Not-for-Profit organization that consists of 42 Member Associations in 38 states representing over 40,000 State Troopers nationwide. The NTC is the only national organization that solely represents the interests of State Trooper and Highway Patrol Associations.

The NTC offers a vehicle for continuing efforts to better police services to the public. We stimulate mutual cooperation between state police associations throughout the United States and to elevate the standards of policing. The NTC assists member state police associations in achieving the best possible equipment, salaries, pension, benefits, and working conditions and we provide a vehicle through which state police associations may disseminate factual data.

Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 8

Maryland FOP Lodge 8 is one of four Lodges serving the law enforcement officers of the Maryland Department of Natural Resources. Lodge 8 represents our Southern region, which encompasses Calvert, St. Mary’s, Charles, Anne Arundel and Prince George’s Counties. Lodges 16 represents our Eastern Shore Region. Lodge 77 represents our Western Region: The Mountain Lodge, Lodge 130, is the DNR central lodge which has Natural Resources Police and Maryland Park Ranger members.

Police Emerald Society

The Police Emerald Society was founded in 1996. We are a not-for-profit Irish organization that supports Law Enforcement members and organizations in the State of Maryland. We are based in the Baltimore, Maryland metropolitan area. The PES offers its members a chance to network with other Law Enforcement individuals, organizations and supporters. It offers an opportunity to work with the community and raise funds for charity causes. The Police Emerald Society is one of the few Law Enforcement organizations that offers its members a variety of events to attend and participate in.

Maryland State Police Polar Bear Plunge

Be a part of THE event of winter and join us for the 16th Annual MSP Polar Bear Plunge where, for just $50 in pledges, Plunge participants take a quick dip in the Chesapeake Bay to raise funds for Special Olympics Maryland, the state’s largest year-round organization devoted to sports training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Anyone can participate! (Under 18 requires parent or guardian signature.)
